‘Don’t Eat It, Complete It’ by McDonald’s

When you can’t come to McDo, McDo will come to you. In the form of our favourite quarantine pastime, that is.

The Challenge

With all McDonald’s stores closed throughout Belgium, many fast food lovers are missing out on their usual Big Macs and McFlurrys. But also the online fan community was hungry for some distraction during this lockdown.  

The Solution

Jumping on the newfound popularity of jigsaws McDonald’s created the first burger with not one or two, but hundreds of pieces of meat. This yummy looking jigsaw puzzle counts 500 pieces, enough for hours of staring at ridiculously little pieces of melted cheese. Or belongs this one to the bun?




The Result

The limited-edition jigsaws were given away to 20 lucky fans via an Instagram competition. To get their hands on one, fans had to share an image of the puzzle, say why they wanted one, and tag McDonald’s. The Burger Puzzle was the perfect give away to get the online community excited.
